Everyone was so friendly, courteous and professional in a small town kind of way. Mr. Vincent, who was my Service Provider explained everything that my car needed to have serviced. I was not pressured at all which I like because I don't like pushy service providers. It was a pleasant interaction. My car runs great! Experience is great and the Becky was very helpful. I didn't have to wait very long for my vehicle to get done. I do have an issue with how the GMC rewards points are not AUTOMATIC. Since 2022, none of my service points have not been added. I had to contact GMC rewards to have the service points added prior to this service. I will probably have to make contact again. I also received a letter in the mail stating that I have 4,196 points in m GMC Rewards but it is no where to be located. When I called GMC Rewards, they could not locate these points as well. If Legacy is sending these type notifications, at least confirm the accuracy and that the points are provided to the last 4-digits of the GMC Rewards member number.

I think that almost 3 hours for an oil change is unreasonable. What is the point of making an appointment? I am unsure that I will return here again. I also did not find my service advisor to be helpful or very friendly. I asked about someone looking at why middle seatbelt see why I could not released it. I was told that they were too busy to check but she would look at it but apparently she did now. That does not appear to be good service to me

Other than the time it took to repair my truck, I’m very pleased with my service advisor Becky Thompson. I had bought a used truck from another dealership and immediately it needed a major repair. She contacted the general manager of the dealership I bought the truck from and expressed to him that they should pay for the work at GMC. It was very nice of her to try, but it was to no avail. I recommend Legacy GMC. Like I said, other than the amount of time my truck was with them (2-1/2 weeks- thankfully I had another vehicle I could drive), I am pleased.

I bought my truck bed cover from the dealer and paid to have it installed. I noticed that it kept leaking and was very flimsy. I had been traveling and finally went back to get it inspected. I found out there was some hardware missing and was accused of messing with it and losing the parts. I stated nothing had changed since getting it installed and no one had messed with it. I was told their "best and most knowledgeable" technician had worked on it and there was "no way" he would have not installed it properly. I wound up paying an extra $400 dollars (most of it was labor) and then had to take it back because they still did not install it properly. I asked them to assist me with the labor since I feel it was their mistake and I was told they would help with $50 worth of parts. I feel they do not value me as a customer and I will NEVER go back to your dealership!!!

I normally don't take surveys but this time I felt compell to respond this time, this was the WORST experience that I EVER had. When called on June 27 to the service advisor Ms. Becky Thompson to contact the gentleman Mr. Melvin for a ride from my home back to the dealership she text him and he didn't know that job was trying to reach him so I waited about 90 minutes before I called back to Ms. Thompson when she stated that Mr. Melvin just arrived back to the office. So she ask him come pick me up, keep this in mind I live not even 5 minutes away from the dealership in a vehicle. When Mr. Melvin arrive at my home he just sat in the vehicle not even a phone call to let me know that he had arrived at the house, so I happen to look outside the house when I saw a vehicle outside. Once I got back to the dealership I went to Ms. Thompson counter and the first thing she said was to go see the cashier to pay, I do work with the public in customer service so by saying that I would have taken my customer out to their vehicle to inspect the work on their vehicle to make sure they are satisfied with the service/repairs perform on their vehicle (NOT GO PAY FOR SOMETHING WITHOUT OVER LOOKING THE WORK). SECONDLY, when I went to the cashier she told me my total without even asking me if I would like to look at the invoice first, so I ask to check out the invoice and her look on her face was like I shouldn't have ask to overlook first before I pay. Next when I went back to Ms. Thompson counter she let's go find your vehicle, she use the remote control alarm to locate the vehicle but she NEVER DID WALK ME ALL THE WAY TO MY VEHICLE FOR INSPECTION FOR THE SECOND TIME... I had a recall to my front grill and a bed cover instal so I tried to bed cover myself and I had one or two questions so I went back inside to Ms. Thompson about it and her response was she have know knowledge how it works. How can GMC dealership have people listed customer service advisor and know knowledge how their products work, GMC should do better in training their workers on the products and especially customer service. Ms. Thompson did ask a mechanic technician to come out to assist me but unfortunately they didn't know how to keep the bed cover from making contact with the vehicle body so he ask me to comeback the next day which was a inconvenience for me. So I did the next day and I will give the technician Mr. Dez credit he did resolve the issue that ai was having, so for the future I WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO THIS DEALERSHIP UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES!!! I should have taken the hint because when I was in the office another customer in the department was VERY UPSET ABOUT THE SERVICE HE RECEIVED, but gave them a try anyway... I would strongly advise EVERYONE TO PLEASE PLEASE

I did not like that I received almost no communication day 1. Day 2 received again very minimal follow up even after speaking to my representative for my vehicle. Day 3 was pretty good, I got a quote and it was fixed the same day, which exceeded my expectations. The speed of the overall repair was great, but the lack of communication day 1 and 2 left me a little upset, considering the repair was scheduled. I feel like I should have been given what was wrong with vehicle and and estimated day of completion on the first day. I also had to wait about 15-20 minutes to pay at the register even with 3 employees sitting right next to where I was standing. Felt like a lack of ownership overall by the leadership team. I sit and watch 3 people pretend like I don’t exist as they talk about beer and their plans for the evening while nobody is around to assist, they didn’t offer to find someone to help or anything. I don’t blame GMC for this, this is how people act sometimes, but I hope leadership is aware and finds small ways to improve. Also, the chairs for the employees in the waiting area by the cashier window need to be changed. The area looks well put together but the chairs make things look distasteful with worn out seats.

Legacy was the third dealership we had visited that day but it was my first choice. I’d gone to Crown in Metairie first. We walked around and no one greeted us. We’d even gone into the building and not one person greeted us. We then drove to Mossy Motors on Broad in central city. We walked around and literally checked every GMC truck on the lot. We took a shade brake under the carport in front of the offices and one guy looked up at us from his phone and turned his head. We then crossed the Mississippi and pulled up to Legacy(our first choice) and before we could put the car in park, Ms. Deana was welcoming us to the dealership with a great big ole smile and welcoming attitude. She sat us down with Jacob so we wouldn’t have to walk around in the sun. He asked what we wanted and Ms. Deana walked in the sun and pulled the vehicles for us. Talk about 5 Starr service. We then checked out the vehicle. It was everything we wanted and then some. We then met with the finance guy. Now I’ve purchased about 10 cars literally. This is the first time I’ve sat in the finance office and didn’t feel duped. We walked away with a 2025 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali Diesel Turbo Engine Pickup Truck and couldn’t be more pleased with the service and the love shown to us. Hands down, this was one of the best purchasing experiences besides purchasing my house in 2003. I also took the liberty to call the sales managers for the other 2 dealerships. The managers both stated how disappointed they were with their sales staff and that a conversation was going to be had. Nevertheless, that’s neither here nor there at this point. I did however braggggg about Legacy and put both dealerships on notice that Legacy is the choice of Westbankers and if I have my way…will be the choice of all of the Greater New Orleans area!!!

Very timely everyone was very pleasant and helpfull only problem When I left the service department i got halfway to Luling and my check Engine light came on so I called and service told me to Come back I pulled over an called my Son who I was going to see he came and put a meter on the car and it showered the fuild pump module which is what was fixed we turned car back on an light was gone drove back all to way to gmc only to Have no code showing the car was not reset after repair very troubling an inconvenient

First, I want to say that the sales department is the Bomb.com. Service is another thing all together. When I walked in around 3:45 pm the first week of December, I noticed there were 3 service reps at their perspective desk acting extremely busy. So busy that not one of them acknowledged me standing there. The first was a white male, another Caucasian /Indian female rep and an Asian rep. I stood there for about 7 mins before the Asian rep rushed past me going out of the door. She said that she will help me if the male rep that was on the phone having a non service related conversation hadn’t helped me before she came back in. I have no idea where the other rep disappeared to. So I remain in the same spot waiting. Shortly afterwards, Mr. Roe(after my service, I realized he was Mr. Roe) walked out from the back office and asked if I was being helped. Suddenly, the guy having the conversation on the phone was available. He said he thought the Asian service rep was helping me. I politely told Mr. Roe what the Asian service rep stated to me in ear shot of the male employee. Mr. Roe then walked out with me to my 2025 GMC Denali and discussed my issue. He then told me to make an appointment. I then made an appointment with the Asian service rep. I arrive on December 11th at 7:30 am for my appointment. At the time, there were about 4 vehicles parked in front of me. Because I’ve only had my vehicle for a few months, this is my first service visit. I parked and walked in the building. The female service rep stated that she will come out to the vehicle and check me in. She was very frantic. She stated that she was trying to get the other vehicles parked in the service area moved to the back. She came out and proceeded to check each vehicle in. As she was checking the vehicle parked in front of me, the Caucasian male service rep came up to my vehicle. I later discovered his name is Vincent. He checked our vehicle in, asked for my phone number and my husband explained the purpose for our appointment. He then walked my husband into the building and asked for our contact number again. That took about 10 mins. At 2:38 pm, I called the Legacy service department to inquire about my vehicle. Vincent answered. I asked if the service on my vehicle will run past 3:30pm? If it was, I will get a ride there. If it was finished, I would’ve asked if the transport person could pick me up. Vincent stated that my vehicle was not complete and it was probably not going to be completed and that the person I had an appointment with no longer works there and that he had his own appointments and that he was accommodating me. I simply asked for his manager’s name. He stated it was something Roe. I repeated the name by spelling it. I asked if it was Rowe? He stated Roe matter of factly! I also asked for the number to reach him. He stated.” It’s the same number.” About 15 minutes later, I received a call from Vincent stating that my vehicle was actually in the stall and it was ready. Once I was off, my husband dropped me off. I walked in and was told by someone to go to see the cashier to retrieve my vehicle. As I walked over to the cashier’s window I observed Mr. Roe sitting in the chair of the person I made the appointment with that is no longer employed there. Once I completed my transaction with the cashier and proceeded to leave, Mr. Roe said have a happy holiday. I turned and asked what his name was, he stated his first name. I can’t remember what he said. I asked if his last name was Roe? He stated that it was. I told him from across the room that I will be contacting him soon. He asked if I wanted to speak at the moment. I stated that I will gather my thoughts and reach out. This is me reaching out. I’ve heard of a lot of dealerships with horrible service reps. I have never been treated or spoken to the way that I was by Vincent at any of the dealerships I’ve frequented. The customer service by the service providers is very unprofessional. I was not greeted when I walked in nor was I going to be helped if it wasn’t for Mr. Roe. That’s very disheartening being that my vehicle is only a few months old and I literally live about 5 mins away and will have to return for services on my $79000 vehicle. I’m absolutely not looking forward to it. Now when I purchased my vehicle, I gave raving reviews about Legacy. It saddens me to have experienced such disrespect in the service department. Just like I have rave reviews, I will have to do the opposite for the service department. And not to flex but in 3 months, I’ve received over 50000 views of my Legacy reviews!

Staff was nice. Dropped truck off for recall and fix what was causing the check engine light to be on. Got a call and said it was fixed. Went to pick it up and truck lights are flashing as well as check engine light was still on. Left, and got a call several hours later and said it was my battery that caused my lights to flash on and off. Got battery replaced. Yall called me up and said truck was ready again. Had to find another ride to yall only to find out check engine light was still on. Yall pulled truck around back and a short while had it back upfront, only to find out the lights are still flashing. Going to bring truck to another dealership for repairs yall caused.

Service on my truck was as expected. Took 2 hours with an appointment and the driver never picked me up after an hour wait to get my truck. I had to get my own ride. Just so inconvenient being 2 hours for an oil change + another waiting for ride.

It’s the parts on the 2025 Acadias I have brought my car in for new breaks within 6 months of having it and then 2 times for the coolant line leaking tremendously. But I was given a loaner which helped out. It’s the inconvenience of having to bring it in time after time

Brought the car over there. Stay there for a week. They said they fixed they went to go pick it up and the car didn't even run. And they didn't even do a diagnostic after I told the lady when I set the appointment to make sure they do a diagnostic after they finished. To make sure everything's running good. Charge me. $600? And now I'm bringing it back. And it looks like it's got a bunch of kids working in the mechanic shop. I don't know what they're doing.

Service Advisor Vince very helpful and nice. Antenna Cover Shark Finn fell off my vehicle. GM does not sell just the cover must buy the complete antenna assembly to get the PLASTIC cover. PAID $553. I left Dealership. Later I discovered it was loose and not properly tightened. Another trip back to the Dealership to get it corrected. Ughhh. GM knows this is a common problem but none of the warranties cover it!!
